GB2 License

After over a year and all the tests and paperwork, I finally got my license for GB2 which is the license for general builder for residential work. To top it off, I got a bond for unlimited which means I can bid jobs that have an unlimited value. The lesser bonds have a max value of $1,000,000.00 (that's $1 million) but I didn't want to be limited to the amount I can bid jobs for so I went ahead and spent the extra cash for the unlimited bond.

The only bad thing about all this is now I have to pay for all this so I have no choice but to raise my rates. I will still remain competitive with other contractors and will probably beat them in my bids but unfortunately, I have no choice on this especially with all the new taxes and fees I have to pay. I will do everything I can to keep my prices low in these troubling economic times and I will still offer discounts to our military. Don't forget I still have the contest for winning a handyman for a day so make sure and enter to win.
