On this day, June 6th I would like for all to remember the great sacrifices that our greatest generation made for us on this day in 1944. As a veteran myself having served in the US Navy, I stand in awe of the great men and women of our not so distant past...

I also stand in utter dismay, sadness and anger for the disdain that our very own president shows to our military sons and daughters by bowing down to foreign governments and dictators and apologising for our supposed arrogance and derisiveness toward other countries. Never does he extol the virtues of our great country and the sacrifices that so many Americans have made for the benefit of the entire world.
